Thanks for the info Jaeson. After following all of what Media 100 told me with no success. I took your info and went with 2.1.5 and the 10.4.4 drivers and I am back up and running. Not sure why the recommended two versions aren’t working together just thankful to be back up and running.

Thanks Jaeson. According to Media 100, I’m live chatting at the moment with them, version 10.7.5 should only run 2.1.3…recommended. We will see if I can get back up and running here momentarily.

Jack, I’d love to see some form of communication from Boris about the future of Media 100 as well. Like you I’ve been a Media 100 editor for many years (1998) and have taken abuse for being so loyal to the product over the years. I agree that it is one of the best interfaces out there and the quality is without question. The silence from Boris has been deafening since Wick left in terms of information flow here on the cow or anywhere for that matter.

I hope this second post leads to some answers…Floh have you heard anything at all?

Thanks Gerry! I knew it was a simple issue and was pretty confident it was a codec issue, but before messing things up I thought I’d give the forum a shot. I appreciate your guidance!

I tried using the export as Quicktime and it failed as well. I think I’ve discovered a bug and have spent an hour or more on the phone with Media 100 this morning. They are working to find where the problem is. Anyone who has performed an export to Studio Pro successfully your comments and how you did it would be appreciated.

Captured footage using DV/DVCPRO 25mbps. Rendered footage is Media100HD 8-bit.
I’ve tried both self contained and reference.
