    Hello!

I am having the same issue with syncing clips of different frame rates. What I did as a work around was syncing the clips that were 25 fps to the main sound separetly and then sync the 23.98 fps clips also separetly in two different multicam clips. Then I made a compund clip of the synced clips and put them in the same multicam clip. This forced FCPX to play the compound clips and the clips in them in sync to the main audio. However, this is really just a work around. It would have been great to have have the program solve this issue automatically.

    Am I making any sense?

Something I was thinking about was to convert the 25 fps clips into 23.98 fps clips but I read on a forum that the audio might change resulting in greater difficulties for FCPX to sync the clips to the original audio. Tricky stuff this is. The compound clips is my best solution so far. Next time I will just have to make sure the framerates are the same.

Have you found another work around maybe?

    Best, Jakob from Sweden
