    I see! Okay, well I’m 90% sure it was interlaced, either that or I captured it under the wrong setting (doesn’t bare thinking about at this point)

    Thanks for your help, my projector might be too old to have a 1080i setting but at least I know for future reference.

  • No it isn’t rendered yet, it’s just the footage in my bins (but whilst capturing I could see it on the capture preview)

    I will render it all once it’s in the timeline – I might actually burn a small snippet of footage to DVD and see if the pulsing is just on my macbook only. Hopefully it is.

    Thanks, I was looking for a less expensive solution as I am a student, and, well, you understand the rest!

    Oh, and I referred to my external HD for the footage, but when I mentioned internal HD later I meant for additional software, as I know some software takes up a lot of space, etc. Having said that, I do need to clear a lot of space on my internal HD anyway as it makes it ridiculously slow.

    I am guessing the solution is to spend money, else the results will be mediocre?
