    Sorry I don’t quite follow what you’re saying… what do you mean by “higher vertical and horizontal correction” and “you get a lot of black on the frame”?

    The trouble is I need to use a 720 sequence as a lot of my footage was shot at 720p/60fps…

    Well some only zoom in 1% or 2% but others are zoomed in anywhere between 10% and 20% and in my expreience this leads to a softening of the image. The footage was shot at 1080p on a Canon 7D then transcoded to Apple ProRes 422 (LT).

    Thanks for your quick replies guys, I think I shall just have to keep trying out a few different card types/brands until one works. I just hope I don’t waste too much money in the meantime. Somebody suggested trying a Sandisk Ultra II card so I might give that a go.

    John, I’m curious about this card test, how do I go about performing one?
