if this could be the wishlist… if i cannot have single frame distributed, i want odd/even option 1,3,5… and 2,4,6 frame on the other machine to have rendering in one chunk from the begining.

most of the time takes not drawing, but preparing, building tree… which are probably not multithreaded anyway. i want to see frames appear quicker. i want see first 20,30,40 frames of my animation quick. i dont want the other half 120,121,122.. is that the way to distribute odd/even frames?

anyway, cloth simulation is a crap. why cloth always streches? are they going to make it soon?

probably best way to animate characters is to have body and clothing as one mesh, and make weight distribution well.

solved. the reason for low performance was lack of proper driver for the machine chipset (dell precision workstation 5400). after installation ae runs 3 times faster and smoothly.

i tried both 3d modes. finally moved 3d layer to another comp and then used the whole comp as a regular layer with my blending. but.. it was really odd.. a bug?

thank you guys. my very recent experience show my ae works faster without Multithreading option at all.

my performance monitor looks so poor, below 30 percent overall cores at rendering time, or below 10 percent when working on timeline. poor. is realy lack of memory main bottleneck problem in this? cannot believe it.

i should switch to 5.5 or 6, i know, but im running xp64bit now and changing system takes time, im in hurry in a deadline project now.

are there some optimizer apps or tools to run in the background in my system and help ae to distribute computing to all cores effectively to make my machine work 100% power? or maybe some bios settings to join the cores virtually? the machine is dell 5400 workstation.
