that’s not at all what I’m looking for and plus the sort of “bad tv” preset is easily done with the AE animation preset “bad tv”…no need to pay.

I’m specifically looking for a way to split and offset text in AE

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid this was the case. I will have to find out a way to automate this for individual frames and their alpha masks. I guess I’ll have to build an action or something to do that as a batch job…trouble is I don’t know how an action can process multiple files per step(i.e. pull in a frame and then pull it’s related alpha mask)

Thank you for the recommendation…I’m going to explore projections as a solution to what I’m trying to do. Before buying anything I gotta learn how to do it myself 🙂
