I would really just like a template that creates a box and grows with the text as you type it in so you don’t have to constantly re-size it. It seems like there has to be a plugin for this out there without having to buy new software.

Are there any plugins similar to your title themes but for older versions of Final Cut? Pulling in a background generator and cropping it for every subtitle I’ve created isn’t going to be worth it…

    Motion 5.0, FCP 10.0.5

Also, when I go to the Spherico tab under the titles browser in FCP your titles show up, but when I scroll over them I only get the red box with the exclamation point showing that they’re not available…

Okay, I installed your program and I’m trying to get the hang of it. I have Motion but I haven’t used it very much. All of my subtitles have been created in FCP already, I just want to add the background shape behind the text. Is there a tutorial on how to do this using your program?

  • Look, I already read the manual before I posted and it didn’t help, which is why I posted my question in the first place.

Final Cut is reading my project from my computer’s hard drive because that’s where it originally saved it. I want to switch it to reading the files from my portable drive. Now I can drag the files from my hard drive into the Final Cut Events and Final Cut Projects folder on my portable drive, but it’s still set to look for them on my hard drive every time I open the program. I just want it to stop looking in my hard drive for the files.

If you don’t know how to help it’s okay, just please don’t tell me to use the manual again or use acronyms that you expect everyone understands.

  • Yeah, I’m looking in the import preferences and I don’t see anything about how to change where your files are saved.

  • How do you do this?

  • Is there a mac version of that?
