    You’ll probably have to do some work with the paintbrush or you could desaturate the beard (quikc solution). As for the wrinkle, the quickest option would be to find a photo of someone with wrinkles and overlay that on top of the photo with a mask and tweak the opacity levels in the various areas of the face. Try different blend modes so that the wrinkles match the skin color correctly.

  • SHIFT select the layers you want to copy/move and right-click the mouse and choose duplicate layers (or menu Layer/Duplicate Layers…). A dialog box asking where you want to copy them to will appear. Under the “document” option, choose a new document or an existing PSD you have open.

  • Try placing your shadow on a black background. The alpha channel will give you a nice gradient transparency if it is on a solid color.

    Set your screen resolution as high as you can. Take a screen grab and bring that into PS. In PS, under image size, uncheck the “Resample Image” box and change your resolution to 300dpi. This will give you the new dimensions for your image as well.
