    Version of Premiere is 2014.0.1. The more I think about it, I think this must be a glitch.

    One more thing worth mentioning: Every time I pressed Enter after entering the timecode it would start playing my timeline from the beginning. I realized that the Enter key is a default shortcut to render and play the sequence. So I disabled it in the shortcuts.

    Basically I just want to be able to quickly type + or – and the number of frames I want to move the playhead, like in FCP, without having to use the mouse.

    Hey Trent,

    Thanks for responding. I’m displaying video timecode (not exactly sure how to display audio only timecode in the sequence).

    The strange thing is that if I click on the timecode and type in +10 and press return, the playhead will advance 10 frames. But if I just type +10 and press enter (without clicking in timecode first) it doesn’t work (though it does display “+10” in the timecode while I’m typing).

    Is this a glitch or am I missing something? Here are screenshots to show what I’m talking about:
