I to am trying to do this. I have a Canopus ADVC110, but cannot see anything on the TV. The TV is a mono TV monitor. It is a little old. Let me tell you what I am doing and let me know where I am wrong.

1. CPU plugged into the DV IN/OUT part of the converter
2. RCAs plugged into the output part of the converter
3. Right channel and video plugged into TV monitor.

I believe I have the channel set correctly, but I am not sure if I am missing something else.

Not being able to convert to an MPEG 2 through the Media encoder. JPEG (converted them to Tiffs and still had a problem). Fairly large resolution (not sure how to change the resolution though), not many (10 at the most). I am currently trying to work around the situation by doing small portions in another sequence and tranferring the avi over to the bigger production.

I need help with turning things off that shouldn’t be on (stuff running in the background that maybe shouldn’t be), resizing stills, etc. I want to try all of these things to see if something jars the system into working better.
