For the computer. I am having problems exporting stills to the mpeg encoder and to a movie. I have read a lot on this subject in this forum and others.

Are there hard and fast settings that I should have on my cpu and in PP 1.5? Could someone list them if there is such a thing? Also, is there any new information about a fix to this issue?

Thanks to everything ahead of time.

    What kind of problems?
    What format are your stills?
    What resolution are they?
    How Many?

Not being able to convert to an MPEG 2 through the Media encoder. JPEG (converted them to Tiffs and still had a problem). Fairly large resolution (not sure how to change the resolution though), not many (10 at the most). I am currently trying to work around the situation by doing small portions in another sequence and tranferring the avi over to the bigger production.

I need help with turning things off that shouldn’t be on (stuff running in the background that maybe shouldn’t be), resizing stills, etc. I want to try all of these things to see if something jars the system into working better.

    Thanks for your time.
