May 2, 2007 at 9:37 pm in reply to: Newbie – Making a video CYLINDER

Happy to say that I am figuring it out. I have a cyliner that I have added my video to. What I need to figure out is how to keep the material (video) from applying to the ends of my cylinder. I just need it on the sides.

    Any help?

I really only need the front of the tube, because I will have it sit inside of the actually tv box. If that make any sense. I will keep playing with it and let you know how it turns out.

Thanks everyone. I understand good animation takes time. Unfortunately this project doesn’t allow that time. This was just an extra that I wanted to add if it could be done quick.

    Again, thanks,

Well it does, but this sounds time consuming. It’s a 6 second animation, which would be 180 frames. So that would be a lot to create.

    Thanks for the help,

January 22, 2007 at 2:56 am in reply to: ProAnimator on Mac Pro or Intel Macs?

I may have had a similar problem, but not on an Intel Mac. My problem was solved by making sure that all windows were docked. If any one of the windows wasn’t docked the ProAnimator window was white and unusable.

    Hope this works,

    Jon:

OK the first idea works if I use the move option in pose positioning. But I am can’t get the hard group to do anything different. I still have everything acting seperate. I am trying to use the presets which may be over riding the grouping I a doing. If this is the case, is there anyway to correct.

Also, I have a rectagle logo that I want to have rotate on the right side. How do I adjust the rotation point?

    Thanks,
    Keith
