Thanks. I thought I disabled the smart resample before and it didn’t work, but I just tried it and now it worked. Maybe it was also necessary to change the video properties to 30 fps. Thank you both for the help.

I don’t like my 60 fps video because the overall video doesn’t have too much motion, but has some, and the 60 fps seemed too fast and emphasized very single small motion. I gave me anxiety watching it. I feel like it is much calmer and pleasant to watch in 30 fps. The 60 fps just made all the motions stand out too much and seem too fast- like it is harder to relax and pay attention while watching 60 fps.

Thank you very much Paul. That method works perfectly. I never knew about that mask option. It will save it a ton of time in the future with the kind of videos I make that always need fixing in certain parts.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. I tried that, but I didn’t really understand how to do it. I want to turn the white color in this video into more light orange skin color but I didn’t understand how to do that with the options in the color correcter (secondary). Could you help me?

Sorry. I meant Selective Color. I don’t think I can edit the title now.. but I meant is there something like Selective Color on Vegas? -where I can make a certain color more of another color.

By laggy I meant it looked lower than 30 fps. The original looked 30 fps (smooth), but the video in sony vegas and after rendering looked like 25 fps.

I managed to fix it though. The only way I could fix it was by rerendering the footage in a different video editor. Not sure why but the video didn’t lag in a different video editor I used and after I rendered it from there, the new rerendered video didn’t lag in sony vegas anymore. After trying lots of different things in Sony Vegas, this was the only thing that worked.

It was also fine after I rendered the new video in vegas.

Hi. Sorry for not replying for a long time. I thought that fixed it but it didn’t. It looked smoother in the preview but after rendering, it is still laggier than the original video. It doesn’t look as smooth. Do you have any other suggestions?

Hi. I am working with gaming footage. I have some 1080p gaming footage I recorded that doesn’t lag at all in sony vegas. But I also have some 720p videos that I rendered before and I am reusing those videos for a new video. When I open those 720p videos in a video player, it is perfectly smooth and normal but when I open them in sony vegas, they are laggy and also look laggy after rendering. I have no idea why. I did something like this before and it wasn’t laggy.

They are 720p mp4 files (that I rendered before) and I am rendering them as 720p mp4 files, with the same render settings I always use (which is at 30 fps).
