    Hey there,
Not sure about the export to encore, but I have been doing a huge project in Premiere and had my share of problems with encoding. I was getting repeated error messages and decided to go in a differant way. I rendered the file out as an 2 pass mpeg 2……………..premiere would not do a DV avi for some reason of memory.I then imported that back into premiere and encoded that at the highest setting it could do. were talking 1 hour and 19 minutes of footage. The quality was better than I thought, but not good enough. Thankfully I have solved the encoding issue which was due to transition that had repeated frames.
    Hope this helps you out.

No, I cannot view from premiere to a tv. I originally went into photoshop and manipulated one of the exisitng menus…………….bad idea huh? Yes I did change the colours. I looked at a video tut here on authoring and have followed how to use the exisitng menus. All I changed was the font and BG. The colour of the font is white and is clearly seen. One thing I have now found is that when I go to encode the file I get an error message. Same problem I had days ago. I found a transition that had repeated frames and fixed it. That sorted that problem fine . But now Im back to getting the same error after putting in the new menu. I did the encoded twice this morning and it stopped at differant times. Any idea on this one? I have to say thanks Mike for your help. This has been a huge project. Cheers

Mate, thanks so much for replying. To answer your question, the highlighted button is white. I have replaced the background, but it is a dark grey blue in colour. I just checked the file and 2 of the scene highlights colours were slightly blue white and not true white. Perhaps that could of been it. Not sure. Hope you can shed some light on it for me. Again, many thanks for your time.
