Hi Mel, i think i have a simple solution to your question!
I recently did an animation course and we were animating in Photoshop, we used the timeline menu (window).
you can warp your image or even redraw if you want to spend a bit of time on it, im sure with your prior knowledge you coould achieve a nice animation. 🙂you can also export like in premier from PS to suitable filetype

Hey Greg, i know this is an old post but i was wondering if you had any success with the zoom quilt, i have recently came across zoomquilt.org and am truly fascinated by it, i have found about 10 different zoom quilts in total ( which is very low in my opinion) and no tutorials about it, i did also look into the zoom earth effect and was wondering if you used those techniques to create one?
