Thanks, I appreciate the thoughts. I guess I’ll continue my search for good shoulder support rig and follow focus options. Who knows those things may come in handy for some of my still macro shooting as well.

Thank you both for your input, it really helps clarify things. I’ll stick with picking up a decent shoulder rig for now as we are going to be able to do a lot of the shooting from a tripod. Any suggestions on shoulder rigs for $2K or less would be appreciated.
