Entered the film industry in 1980 after graduating with BA Honours in Political Philosophy and Film. Wrote, directed and produced many documentaries. Produced hundreds of commercials. Wrote and directed two TV drama series. Wrote approximately 30 feature screenplays. Wrote and directed five feature films:

– MY DAUGHTER'S KEEPER (aka AU PAIR) (USA, Miramax, 1993)
– OVERLEVEN (Surviving) (NL, BUZZMEDIA NETWORK, 2007) – Winner Best Short Feature Film Award Cape Winelands Film Festival 2008 /Winner Best Arthouse Feature, SCENECS Film Festival, NL.
– SCHOFT (Scum) (NL, BUZZMEDIA NETWORK, 2009) – Winner Best European Fiction Film, Irish International Film Festival.
