Hasan Salame was born in 1986 in Nabatieh, Lebanon. He is a Communication Arts graduate from the Lebanese American University. He worked as a cinematographer in many short films. He participated in different projects in Lebanon, Germany, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Czech Republic. He was awarded the Spirit of Excellence prize at the Lebanese American University. His experience in film production includes cinematography, video editing, 2D animation, as well as color grading. Hasan also worked with FAMU students on their senior films for three months in Prague in 2012. His short film “Mulberry Swing” received an official selection at several festivals as well as the Grand Cinemas Award at the NDU film festival. He was also the DP for the film "Soldier 888" as part of the 48-Hour Film Festival, Lebanon 2014. The film received 8 awards including best cinematography and best editing both by Hasan. His latest work is on the feature film “Mafkoud” as the cinematographer.
