  • Thanks Noah,

We were already able to apply the effects to the individual clips within the multicam clip (no export/importing needed) and now we have a nice multicam clip with the multiple versions as angles.

In fact we have 3 of these muticam clips, each containing differently effected versions of the long take. Each multicam clip is masked to show one musician. Together the multicam clips make up a composite image of three musicians, and we can switch between the effects (angles) and cross fade each musician individually.

Now we are wondering if there is a way to use the angle viewer on each of these multicam clips separately. So far we can only use the angle viewer to control the topmost multicam clip. For the others we have to right click on the multicam clip and choose the ‘active video angle’… which is a flow buster.

Still investigating, thanks for the input!

  • Thanks Jeff,

    Think of it this way:
We’re using a muticam clip containing differently EFX’d versions of the same shot, so as we change angles the EFX changes.
It’s a long take of a live music performance.
It’s such an elegant and simple way to change the EFX.

The rub is we would like to do this for 3 or 4 multicam clips in one project (each person gets different EFX at different times). The multicam clips are composited together to show all the musicians.

We can edit the multicam clips without the Angle Viewer but the Angle viewer is just so F@#$% graceful and amazing!
