That was it, nicely done and thanks for the quick response! It took a little fiddling to get the seq size to match the piece of the map I wanted but I did get it there and exported.

Hi,
I’m starting with a 720 x 480 clip. Let’s say there’s 10 frames in this clip. There is an animated map in each of the frames, of course it changes in each frame because it’s animated but it’s the same size and located in the same position in each frame. I want to cut out just the map part, let’s say it’s 200 x 200, in each of the 10 frames. I don’t want to scale it to the 720 x 480 size I just want to crop it and export it, so when I’m done I have a 200 x 200 QT mov where the map fills the frames.
Does that make senese?

thanks the cmyk seemed to be the issue. Some of the ai files were rgb but I probably didn’t see those jpegs in the Flash as working I just saw a few of the cmyk versions not working and assumed all the ai/jpegs were bad.
