    Hi

I have tried this on the adobe blog and it didnt work. I do still have cs4 installed would hat be the problem u think? i do know of the work arounds, but i would like to fix the bug and not have to swap to 16bit etc or turn off the broadcast monitors.

Strangely enough, we have just installed an almost identical mac system the only difference is that it came with the full version of cs5 not an upgrade and cs4 is not installed at all. I dont want to uninstall cs4 tho in case cs5 turns up more bugs..

    Hey

I think I may know your issue, although be it late, i had the same issue tried everything, it may be a final cut bug, take your sequence, next it into another sequence then export,
I recently had an issue where everything previewd fine in final cut and external monitor, when i exported to quicktime? the while thing looked crap.

  • Hi

I am having this issue too, horizontal text crawling accross screen, rendered out upper fields in after effect, placed in upper field project sequence in final cut, looks great on broadcast monitor and plasma attached preview monitor and final cut window, as soon as I expor to h264 for tv station, text crawl has obvious feild issues. Im tearing my hair out and h264 export from final cut wont let you choose upper or lower fields when you export. I thought it was looking bad in the quicktime as it was being veiew on the monitor, but stations are still saying it will go to air this way, can anyone help?

    cheers
