Right now I am rendering in avi..it seems when I use Mpeg2..architect won’t accept the file.

I have tried the Sony YUV codec..the quality is amazing, but it’s not widescreen. I will try the technique you mentioned in your previous post. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the tip. I have actually decided to get DVD architect 5…it seems to be the way to go.

Are there any specific codecs you recommend when I render. I noticed when I used DV widescreen codec…the picture actually seems pixelated.

    Thanks again!

I was trying to render in avi.

I have tried installing neo player but it makes no difference.

I then tried to render in mpeg 2 which seems to work fine.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

So for my purposes it’s best to stick with MPEG2. If I decide to used Adobe Premiere in the future would the files work with them as well?

    Thanks for the info.

I used the HDV capture tool in vegas and copied about 60 minutes of video to my hard drive – this only took about 12GB…does that sound right?
