Thanks Walter, But like I said Im new to this whole side of editing My old work had A Kona 2 Card, with a b/o box attached to a Deck and I never really understood how it worked. I’m not concerned with getting 100% accurate color, my clients are all low end anyway. Basically the less cords i have to deal with and the less money I have to spend the better. I moved my question to the Black Magic forums.

could I possibly do this without the B/o boxes and Black magic cards? Could I do it with a 2nd GFX card? And I really don’t understand how the AJA and Kona cards work. I mean would I just get something like this

my internal RAID is set to Extened (Journaled) so il be good i was working off a external HD

God I’ve Tried but now that I’m out of school, I’m in 90,000 in debt and have payments rent,car, inc and a Free 40 hour a week internships with a possibility of be hired I just cant do. I did 4,5,6, full time internships in college and after I busted my butt for 4-5 months at each one I was given a t-shirt and a “good Luck, but we just don’t have room for you now…” I’m at wits end.

Thank Shane I always like your advice. Im just worried. I don’t wanna be left in the dust and with all this software being”intel only” I’m worried that I’ll have to turn down future work. But all my work thus far has been chicken feed.
