Thanks you both, It looks like Toast 10 is the answer. Is there an advantage to the Pro version?

If you have Flash installed, go Export > Using Quick Time Conversion > Format > Flash select Options to choose player and size.

According to Wikipedia, DVD media supports up to 18 Mbps when using AVCHD, I burned it at 16 Mbps

Rendering and burning will all be completed. Choose 1920×1080 60i and leave the rest a default.

Thanks for all the comments, the slideshow is a better quality than I ever expected.

I burned Blu Ray to a standard DVD directly from Vegas like John said. I played it in a Sony BDP-S550.
