    Hi Don,

No it’s not possible right now. The camera seems to be in great shape, and the connections are good. I’m wondering if I shold buy another cable.

    Thanks for you continued attempts.

LOL!! Mark, That’s good.. OF COURSE I have the right cables. Let’s see …red goes to red…blue goes to blue and green goes to green. LOL! Thanks for the advice, but I think something’s wrong with the flimsy connection. Have a good one.

    Thanks Mark,

This would be a 1-camera shoot, and we wouldn’t have the graphics ahead of time. So unfortunately it would be done the old fashioned way, Capture to cards, edit later. Edit all video clips then add the chroma key backgrounds and graphics. How much time would you estimate for this?

Nope doesn’t work. I don’t know why. Plus I’m not sure if I can have the audio inputs and the DVI working at the same time.

    Hi Don,

Thanks for that info. I have tried that with no luck.

What I’m trying to do is shoot a media training class then playback the file on an LCD screen. The sdi signal works fine for the image. I’m using an HD link to DVI.

However that DVI does not have audio. So I’d prefer to use component out since my LCD monitor has component in connections.

Should I set YPbPr/SDI Out Select” to HD SD or OFF. The SDI port works fine, but I’m not seeing anything out of the Component Out port. How do you disable the iLINK I/O?

  • I did two 3 green screen shoots with an EX1. All 1080P progressive. They all look great.

    Ian,

Thanks so much for hanging in there with me to get this taken care of. Your help is certainly appreciated.

I converted that first file to MXF then used XDcam transfer to wrap it as a .mov file. It worked!!!!

To your other points, I had this footage shot by another company out of town, so I’m not sure if they dragged the BPAV file over or not. I didn’t have the card or camera just the drive they laid off the files to.

Any thanks again. Kudos to you for all of your help and patience. Have a great afternoon!

    Hi Ian

I’ve transferred all clips except the first clip. that’s giving me an error, even when trying to export it into FCP. Any thoughts.
