Hey Phil –

Last night at 12pm Pavtube was the best answer !

I was transcoding 5D MkIII ” ALL-I ” footage to ProRez 422 . FCP 7 would fail after about 8 clips.

It seems like all the problems began when Lion showed up –

– but I think you’re right – even for the occasional transcodes I need a more stable system like Premiere …

– I guess I was holding out for Apple to fix things …
