The reason for this post is that this issue was flagged by a potential client who has worked with Avid for many years where this certainly isn’t an issue.

I’ve used Blackmagic and AJA 10 Bit codecs. We’ve also had programmes pass successfully for the BBC and ITV no problem, however the half line issue is very noticeable at the top of the frame whatever 10 Bit codec or card is used.

I heard through the grapevine that the BBC were failing beacause of this. I’ve found very little on this issue on forums which is surprising because it is so noticeable.
