Are you saying at the end of the round trip, avid is connecting to the original media instead of the colored shots out of Resolve?

If you change the edit in Resolve from an Avid AAF, the round tripped version that goes back to Avid will simply show you the same sequence (timing, shot order etc) that you spit out…except these clips will be coloured as you did in Resolve. It doesn’t “breaK” at the point you made a change…it simply returns what it received from a timing standpoint.
If you want to try to export a new AAF, (right click on the timeline and export new aaf) i believe this is designed to accomodate these changes, but i’m not sure that works properly yet either…as of 12.2 or what ever i’m on.
I basically avoid online changes in Resolve at all costs. If there is a change, i try to jump to Avid, make the change and spit out a new list.

all your grading is done through luts?
What happens if you throw a green color correction wash on a clip…does that make it through the render?

can you relink your avid sequence back to the original clips before you send it to resolve?
(I don’t do a lot of subclipping, so just spit ballin here)

Does sound like a frame rate interpretation issue…almost exactly half the length?
Another possibility…
how did you sequence get into resolve?
Did it start in Avid? Was the length changed in Resolve after the original list came in? Round trip sequences can’t change during the process. (If you tweak the edit in resolve, Avid will still revert back to the original edit that it sent out)

I think the problem might be Avid MC6. For some reason i think the ability to export a list with AMA material might have not been available until 7 or so? Thats what .my brain is telling me anyway.
You might have to update to a free trial of 8.5, and create all your lists that way.

by EQs are you referring to audio fx plugins?
Have you tried calling up a fx setting in the effect editor and dragging the icon to a bin? Same procedure to save a video effect setting.

You should be able to generate new mxf media, and relink the editors sequence to that media.
Essentially it would be the same process as creating low res mxfs, then linking to high res mxfs.I’m assuming the editor still has his or her copy of the original mxfs? can’t you just get a copy of that footage?
What are your relink steps for going back to AMA? That should work for you quicker than 1 at a time as well.
Your entire workflow sounds like you should be able to get through this fairly unscathed.

I have Windows 7 as my main box, but I don’t think I’ve gone to 12.3 yet.
I do have Windows 10 on a laptop, and will tell you cs6 runs on it, but I do have to run AE and Premiere Pro in Win 7 compatitbility mode.
Photoshop seems to be fine, so It must have something to do with a video element. The good news is you set up compatitbility mode once, and then forget about it.FWIW, the only problem I’ve had issues with is MacDrive 9 Pro, which does not work in Win 10, and doesn’t seem to have the ability to run in any kind of compatitbility mode.
