Hey Barry, the same thing happened to me last year, although I did it to myself by accident. My system ran just fine with no “C” drive assigned. I did however have a problem when trying to install a couple of programs but otherwise it was fine.

Zaxwerks ProAnimator and Ulead’s 3D Studio are my favorites. You would be surprised what you can do with the tools already included with Vegas.
