    Hello,

for HVX200A (uncertain if there any diff. with hvx200):

    1. Menu -> PC mode -> USB device

    2. Connect HVX to MAC via USB and mount the p2.

    3. Copy files from hd to p2 – Note that I had the original folder tree/structure
as originally copied from the P2 to the drive. I doubt it would work if one just
dropped random mxf files on the P2 without the proper folder structure.

The files copy and play back fine, unlike via firewire which reports that the p2 cannot be modified.

Somewhat tangential to this – I noticed some posts re: one needing Raylight to play
back MXF files. I have had no problems dropping the mxf files on QT Player which plays
    them back just fine.

I don’t know if the 200A ports differ from the regular 200 but the Focus/Iris plug does not go in
all of the way on my 200A.

Were any of the Hvx200’s you have worked with 200A’s?
I’m trying to determine if it is an isolated issue.

    Thanks

You can also change the ‘1394 device’ to USB device and mount the p2 on a mac.
You can then copy whatever you like onto the card without any permission issues.
