So when capturing DVCProHD over firewire in AXP, the only res selectable in the capture tool will DVCProHD? no access to the standard resolutions of 15:1s, DV411, DV420, 1:1 or the DNxHD codecs? will this be the same story when the HDV update for AXP 5 arrives?

do you know whether the HDV upgrade will enable a decent offline workflow? will it be possible to do frame-accurate batch capture?
