Is it possible to run hyperdeck with media express? Also, can I work the media in hyperdeck or media express through the media players in the ATEM 1 computer software?

That is great info. I am trying to build this new system without any missing links. So your help is invaluable. We use a tricaster now and for the most part, it takes care of all of our concerns except that it is a PC and the cost is skyrocketing! We want to make a clean switch without any “oops” we didn’t know that we would need that piece of gear or that we would need that program. Because we work in a school division we usually have a one time buy in. We can’t afford to make any mistakes.

So, we are going from A to Z.

I think that you are the person I need to speak to. I am the program director at a school division internet tv station. We are thinking of switching from the tricaster to ATEM 1/ME. I am trying through the purchase of the right gear, to duplicate the tricaster using what I hope is a more stable system like ATEM. Here is the problem. I have talked to black magic but they won’t tell me what I need to get in order to do the following or set up a like system that I have with the tricaster;
1. store clips and interviews on a drive that will connect to ATEM or the Mac. (imac). They say I need a third party connector but won’t tell me what.
2.What am I saving my shows to?
3. How can I run a live program online?
4. Create CG’s inexpensively.

Any thoughts or help?
