i AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. When i try to download and install the vegas 9c pro 64 . It says I need to install
Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redist
Microsoft Visual c++ 2008 SP1 Redist
Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistro (x64)

Seems a little astrange as i have tried the previous versions and they work . I need to try the newest 9c to ensure it will work better witht he avchd files. And sonme of the previous bugs worked out so I buy this.

Cannot buy , if I cannot even install it on my machine

I have gone to MS and downloaded and installed each of the above files in the same order, with no luck

I am now running a HP – HDX 9200 cto LAptop
4gig ram
many external drives and 2x 250 gig internal
Windo2ws 7 was an upgrade from Vista

Please help us out to make you sell more software
