    Ditto. I installed the full Final Cut Suite under Tiger. All Software Updates are current. All other apps are working perfectly, including export from FCP using QT to export to m2v. Your times sound about right for what I get using the QT export.

    Compressor, for the most part is working OK – all audio conversions are just as fast as before. Its just it does this Copy thing.

    I am wondering, the self contained video is on an internal secondary drive, so is compressor copying the file to the system drive? If so, there was not be enough space on the system drive. Is having the source file on the system drive a requirement for distributed processing?

    If so, then that could explain the stalling…. once the drive filled up, there is no place to continue copying the source movie, and it just bogs down. Although, I would think that Compressor would issue some kind of error message when it ran out of disc space.
