    I would build them as static titles in Premiere, or, build them in Photoshop and import. Then just use the linear wipe to transition them onto the screen.

    You’re welcome. Your editing/titling/graphics software should have the ability to toggle the ‘safe action’ and ‘safe title’ overlays on and off. You may also be able to adjust the amount of these safe areas in your preferences settings but the defaults are standard and should be good for most video viewed on a TV. Depending on the camera you use, the viewfinder/LCD screen might also be able to display the ‘safe action’ area among other useful framing overlays (grid, centre mark, 4:3 ratio, etc.).

    [Matteo Badin] “As I watched the movie in my television, I noticed that the video was cropped.”

    If the text was placed outside the “safe title area” then what you’re seeing is normal. All TVs cut off a certain amount (it varies) of picture. When you view a video file on a computer screen however, you will see the full image.

    You could also add another layer above the adjustment layer and put in a white slug where you want the dip to white to be. Then just fade it in and out.

    Solved it!!

    I had upgraded Boris Continuum Complete since last opening this project. A majority of the clips have the BCC Fast Film Glow effect applied. The upgrade seems to have defaulted to selecting the “Enable Beat Reactor” checkbox.

    To add to what Alex has said… you’ll also have much better audio post-production capabilities.

    Good luck!

  • What do you mean by “flickering”? Can you post a sample?

    [Netta Yusef] “How to change VBR to CBR frame rate?”

    I don’t have an answer for you, but I just want to clarify –

    VBR = Variable Bit Rate
    CBR = Constant Bit Rate

    You are asking about FPS… Frames Per Second.

    Just a stab in the dark here… is the drive formatted correctly (Mac vs. MS-DOS)?

    I don’t have an answer as to why you’re not seeing a full list of formats… perhaps you don’t have the Apple Pro Video Formats installed. But I am puzzled with the required output settings.

    [Martin Pedraza] “Timecode: Must be continuous and Non-Drop Frame”

    [Martin Pedraza] “Frame Rate: 29.97 Interlaced”

    Seems to be a conflict there.
