Hi,
I just had the same thing happen to me. Turns out that I had After Effects open at the same time Premiere Pro was open. I’m also using the Intensity Pro and that combination caused Premiere Pro to not update the playback monitor. When I closed After Effects, Premiere Pro operated normally.

Ok, I am giving it one last try. I have reinstalled the trial and have the same problem. I contacted Sony support and will wait for a reply.

I installed and reinstalled multiple times. No change.
I have since uninstalled the software and have decided not to purchase it. I don’t feel like beta testing Vegas.Thanks to all who tried to help.

I can edit the MainConcept template but not the Sony avc/mvc templates.
The Sony templates provide better quality by far.Gary

I have followed your instructions to the letter, but I still can’t change the file format on the SYSTEM tab; it is greyed out. I’d like to change the file format from m2ts to mp4, but I can’t. I was able to do it in Sony Movie Studio Platinum 12. I wonder if this is a limitation of the trial?

I am using Windows 7 Professional along with ProAnimator 6 standalone. I am doing nothing special with fragmentation, just trying out different things with the settings. After a while of usage, the program becomes non responsive or just hangs. I don’t have any projects; I never get a chance to save the project. As to when I get the crash, it’s at random times.

I would like to add my concern for these crashes. I cannot complete anything related to fragmentation – I either get lockups or crashes. I am beginning to regret this purchasing decision.
