Hey Dennis, I think those graphs are pretty interesting, especially the first one. I am a Creative Cloud subscriber, and I love it, but that $50 per month fee may be a bit hard to swallow when that year is up. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, but if somehow it remains $30 per month, I think you’d have an ongoing subscription (from me at least) for much, much longer.

If you get a RAID, then USB3 will be the bottleneck because it won’t transfer as fast as the RAID array can dish it out.

Because X is not going to improve the output quality one iota, and even the speed increases are dubious, especially over Premiere CS6, which any production house that has Creative Cloud or Production Premium will already have.

Hey Todd, I really like the camera, especially compared to the ergonomics of the DSLR bodies I usually shoot with.
The C100 would make an excellent B-camera, however the lack of PL mount in your case really seems like a no-go, which is a shame. I think the C100 at $6500 is a better deal than the C300 at $15,000, honestly (well, outside of no PL mount at least).

When I shake my Eight Ball it says affirmative when I ask about Q1 2013. It’s one of those special Eight Balls that can actually fit the word “affirmative” in that little window.”My Eight Ball says Tim Cook was just B.S.-ing to keep some of the base from having a fit, and that the new iMac is as close as you’re going to get for the foreseeable future.

Not sure what a proxy workflow has to do with this particularly, however, I don’t see what FCPX adds to this. I used Premiere CS5 with 4K Red One footage and had to reframe on a 2k timeline in order to have inserts that weren’t being shot. FCPX wasn’t even out then.
