I’m doing the transfers in manual with “uncontrollable device” selected. Most of my attempts are hitting escape while the tape is running. I have tried the I-link to firewire cable as well, works great when I hook up a camera, so I know it’s not the cable. I tried composite, but the Kona board won’t recognize it, it only sees SDI. I’m thinking of just trying different AJA software versions next. Any other ideas?

I’m using a Sony J30 SDI “everything” Betacam, trying to digitize standard Betacam tape that has important archival images. I’ve tried both the 8 and 10 bit settings.
