Wow – this is crazy-making, isn’t it?

Thank you all SO MUCH for your help. I’ve finally gotten a good render, although I’m baffled by the process.

Here’s the gist:
Original footage was 1080p 59.94fps AVC. I’m trying to render for DVD.

Vegas Pro 12:
Everything fails: GPU on – fails. GPU off – fails. MC mpg2 interlaced or progressive render – all combinations fail. Intermediate format of any kind, followed by Mainconcept mpg2 — fail.

Vegas Pro 13:
Same as above, every possible combination fails EXCEPT….. turn off the GPU acceleration and voilla — a great clean render.

I’m baffled. Is this specific to my GPU (NVidia quadro k4000)?

Oh well, I got the results I need and I am grateful for your help.
