    Hi John,
    My main reason for considering the change is that I’ve been disappointed in the low light capability of my V1u. I’m going in today to do a side by side comparison. Could you explain what reservation you have about going to AVCHD from HDV?

    Hi Mike,
    I went to your link and I don’t actually see definitive file types that work best in Vegas;
    like stills
    jpeg
    tiff
    bmp
    or video
    wmv
    mpeg1 or 2
    avi
    etc
    is there a list addressing those?

    I had it set to 128 due to a utube recomendation. I’m new.
    Set it to 2,000 and it worked.
