You should post the exact settings you are using to export the AAF. Are you embedding the media in the AAF or consolidating it to a folder, ect.

Hi Bob… I am having the same exact issue capturing with my Kona LHE on a 2007 MAC Pro with 5 gigs of Ram and with 2 Dual – Intel processor with speed = 2.66 GHz. I have my NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT card in slot 1, Slot 2 is a firewire card with two 800 slots and a 400 slot, Kona LHE in slot 3, and slot 4 is a fiber card that isn’t used all the time; only when we switch to the Avid partition, in fact it gets unplugged when not in use. I have a Gen 10 and that is hooked up with black reference going to the deck and the computer. Im only trying to capture Apple Pro Res NTSC 29.97 which is a very low bandwidth and according to the Aja system test and Data rate Calculator should capture with ease to a two TB G-raid connected with firewire 800. I have also tried capturing to the Computers Hard-dive. I am having Audio slip that get progressively worse the longer it captures. I notice it is off any during playback. It begins to slip not even 30 seconds in.

I have made sure that the Kona drivers and QT are up to date… It seems like no matter what i do my HDCAM Capture loses synch with the audio. Any more suggestions???
What Final Cut settings should I be using to go firewire out of the JH3, if it is even possible???

As far as the 1080i 59.94 or 29.97 issue… I was just going by the tape label. It also says Non-Drop TC.
I will look into replacing the Kona driver…
Is there anything else that could throw it off? For example… Do I need a sync generator or do I need to hook up reference or anything like that?
