final year project is component video over cat5, with a PIC as RGB to YUV converter to control invididual R/B gain & black levels for component HD signals. advantage of PIC is use of both colourspaces. also included in the design is a simple one way talkback and comms set-up. thus making any modern hd camera with component o/p (z1, hd100 etc) a fully functioning studio camera. PIC my brains (haha!)

at glastonbury 2005 i was the vision engineer for the east and west dance tents. an assortment of kit including 10 broadcast cameras, 6 projectors and a 1970's OB unit kitted out with Toaster VT4 provided 6 large screens visuals from everything from VJ's to live cam footage of onstage action. email me f you want to know details.
