I captured the footage in HDV-Apple ProRes 422, but when i made a dvd of the footage the jitters were still there. When i view the footage on the camera it looks perfect and then on the capture window in fcp i can see the jitters, so its in this stage where i think the problem must be. Would it have anything to do with the REC TYPRE: Interlaced
    SCAN TYPE: 50

    on the camera?

    Cheers for the response Jerry,

When i plug the camera into an external monitor it plays perfect. After i downloaded it into final cut pro i made a dvd of the finished product even though it had the jitters in the straight lines (just to be sure it wasn’t the monitors i was using with the computer) it still had them when i played the dvd back on a player.
