quick follow up. what if the mogrt is 32 bit color?how will premiere handle it if the rest of the project isnt 32?

i was wondering if the MOGRT’s i create in AE retain the same exact properties 1:1 when imported into premiere?

so far i noticed that the drop shadows are much weaker. what else changes?

does it take into account composition settings?

– like if samples per frame are set to 64?

– accurate transparencies ?

-motion blur?

– resolution?

i tried doing like you said, but unfortunately the result was same.

there definitely isnt any gaps in pp however they get added in ae.

and they get added at seemingly random.

only the last clip has it (if you look closely in the last picture)

im also working on pp19 and ae19 as well. im not using dynamic link. just importing directly.

would “replace with ae composition” solve framerate discrepancies?

yes, there is framerate discrepancies. ae project is in 60fps, one of the videos is 29.xxfps and the other one is 59.xxfps.

i edit my footage in PP (splice it, rearrange it,cut it etc). when i look at it in PP its all seamless and frame perfect. no transitions used. just one clip right after the next.if i were to export it from pp as a video it would also be seamless. there is no gaps in the pp arrangement whatsoever.

my shadows dont have blending modes (its just the “drop shadow” effect preset.)

i guess maybe because the background is lighter the shadows appear lighter too (+ loss of date from exporting in 8bit color depth format png).

i will try again using the settings you suggested.

i got a problem with “desaturation?” when exporting from AE.

im working on a 30+ minute long video with tons of moving parts, animations, title cards ,2x hd footage(PiP style),dynamic backgrounds, drop shadow (the works).also everything needs to be timed and synced down to the frame.

my rig is not powerful enough to handle this in AE…

while we’re at it…in the reference picture i posted it seems like theres another light source involved (its especially noticeable when you look at a smaller version of the pic). but it gives it a nice 3d effect. what do you think it is guys? should i just mess around with cc light rays?

but how can i keep the stroke of the sides of (lets say) a rectangle from getting stretched if im resizing it only on one axis? i would like the stroke to always be 4px no mater how i stretch or resize the shape. is there a way to do that?
