Thank you, Dan, however, I need an expression that generates “smooth transitions” between the values, just like the wiggle expression. In other words, I need an expression that works just like the wiggle expression except I need to be able to specify the largest and smallest value allowed AND how many times per second a new value will be generated.
Is this possible?

Ok, thank you for your explanation – I think I understand now!
However, I don’t understand why turning on the “On Transparent”-option makes the layer (including the clone stamp!) completely transparent? Why do I have to copy the effect to a separate layer to make the “On Transparent”-feature work?

Also, don’t these two workflows below end up with the same result?:
(1) Clone stamp on footage layer → Duplicate the layer → Turn on the “On Transparent”-option on the duplicated layer → Delete the effect from the original footage layer
(2) Clone stamp on footage layer → Create a new adjustment layer and paste the effect → Delete the effect from the original footage layer

Ok! But why does AE/Premiere even create a conformed audio in the first place? Why not just rely on the audio directly from the file? Also, why doesn’t it create a conformed video file?

However, I’m curious if you think that it’s better to convert to (by embedding) sRGB instead of Rec. 709 when exporting images (mostly PNG’s) for the web from AE, since 99% of the image files on my computer (from the internet but also from my camera etc.) is sRGB. There’s gotta be a reason that I’ve never seen an image file with Rec. 709 embedded…? What are your thoughts on this, should I convert to sRGB color or stick with Rec. 709 (since I’ll be working in Rec. 709) when exporting final images from AE?
