On the Source monitor it has snow, too, but in Windows Media Player, when I play it, it looks great.

It was captured with Toshiba’s program, because the notebook doesn’t capture with any other program. I played the captured clip in Windows Media Player and it worked fine. And yes, it is the kind of snow you get on TV.

OK, thank you very much, it works now. But now my friend has a problem with Premiere Pro 2.0. When he edits clips in Premiere the picture has “snow” for a second, if you know what I mean, and then it is ok (the captured clip is great). But it happens again after 10 seconds, and so on. He tried all kinds of filters and nothing. HELP PLEASE!!!

I’m exporting it as .avi file. I am using these settings:

    General:
    File type: Microsoft DV AVI
    Range: Entire clip

    Video:
    Compressor: DV PAL
    Color depth: Millions of colors
    Frame size: 720×576 4:3
Frame rate: 25.00 frames per second
Pixel aspect ratio: D1/DV PAL (1,067)
    Quality: Maximum
    Key frame every 0 frames

When I use some video effects to stop that it doesn’t help, if you can help me with this I would be very grateful!
