Hey Dave! Thanks for taking time to answer my question!

Do you think maybe I can reach something similar through Levels/Curves? Or Rotoscoping is the only way here?

I just want to maintain it’s color just like it was in the black background!

    Hey Andrew!

Thank you very much for taking the time to write such in-depth post.

I will try the steps you suggested and post soon what I’ve manage to do!

Could you please explain a little bit further what is the difference between 8bpc, 16bpc and 32bpc? And what is that relation to the Gamma Encoded Space Rec709?

    Thanks in advance!

@Kalleheikki Kannisto! Thanks so much for your answer!

So here is the version I’ve manage to make:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0qKaS2jt1U&feature=youtu.be

So I tried what you said through Fractal noises, I have 3 layers there, 1st is more Rocky so it looks like smoke, the 2nd one is more like a glowing slightly moving, the 3rd one is the ones trying to replicate the wisps, all of the fractlas are being offset to move up.

I paid close attention to the original FX and it looks like they are particles because they fade in and fade out scaling to 0, but I have NO IDEA on how to do that, any directions?

  • Mr Dave LaRonde!

Thank you so much for your answer, but then how would you go exporting the audio from premiere?

    Export Settings > Waveform Audio?

Then how do I export back from After Effects to Premiere Pro making sure that the animations are going to fit, are right on the same frames/seconds?

    Can you specify please?

    Thank you!
