What do you mean with “composite D/A to feed the MX-50 output to the recorder/ monitor/ wall”?

So if composite would be ok and the client doesn’t want to spend lots of money do you could I use two Cameras like Panasonic HPX-171 and Mixer-Video like the old but good MX-50?
What hardware are you using? And where are you recording to? I think I’ll rec the program to a PC going to it via a Firewire acquisition device and as a backup a DVD-recorder…
But how to set the resoultion if I’m using an “analogic” composite signal? I don’t think it’s my case…
