Hi Stephen,

I found out another way to create an infinite background.
1. Create a solid and convert it to a 3d layer.
2. Rotate it 90° (or -90°) on the x-axis then shift it down in order to have a floor.
3. Apply the effect CC Repetile and expand the solid in every direction (except to the bottom side). 2000 or 3000 should be ok.
2. Create a second solid, apply a gradient (Ramp effect), but leave this 2D.
3. Set the Blend Mode of the 3D layer to Multiply.
That’s it.

Hello Stephen.
I tried to follow your instructions but I was not able to create that environment.
I just see the first above black solid with the lens flare applied to it and blurred out because of the adjustment layer. Should I apply any “mode” to the solid (i.e. overlay or screen)?
Is the white solid above the precomp 3D?
