i’ll have a look thanks, my video was shot in 16×9 1080i if that matters any, so i guess while searching I should keep those in mind?

would wmv give me better quality than mpg2 to view on PC connected to 1080p LCD display?

i also made separate mpg2/ac3 to SD DVD (NTSC Widescreen) and burned to DVD…but, when viewing the dvd on a widescreen LCD, i got small black bars on the left and right. There is an option before you start rendering to “Stretch to fit … “, i checked that option and I didn’t have that problem again. Is that the right solution for that?

also, the rendered video for the SD DVD was only about 2gb, so is it possible for me to render at a higher quality or anything? Or are regular DVD players limited what quality/bitrate etc that can be on a normal DVD?
